Mobile FilmMakers 2006 Awards
Mobile filmmaking began with the concept of creating films using conventional video technology such as digital camcorders, but for viewing on the much smaller mobile phone screen. Hosted by Los Angeles-based company BigDigit, the World's Smallest Film Festival 2003 was one of the pioneer events encouraging the production of short films to be played specifically on mobile devices. UCCKE @ pbwiki
PBwiki is the world's largest consumer wiki farm. Wikis are simple Web pages that let you collaborate with others. 3 Stanford graduates launched PBwiki in June 2005. Dr. Ch'ien Guo Fung on UCCKETV
On June 1st, Dr. Ch'ien Guo Fung visited UCCKE, giving a presentation of "the character of a leader in the 21st century" to the students and the teachers. After that, Dr. Ch'ien also talked with UCCKETV students about reading, learning and even his family. Video may be viewed in the coming few weeks on our e-Class intranet.

Odeo: a creative way to record and share audio
As a company, they believe strongly in the democratization of media. They think that giving more people powerful tools for the creation and distribution of media will result in more knowledge, ideas, art, truth, and amusement available to all. And they think that the potential for new forms of audio content is particularly exciting, as it is one of the most ubiquitous mediums possible, yet also one that has lacked options for so long.

06-07 S.2 Creative Media @ UCCKE starts
In the first two lessons, students will learn basic photo-taking technique, try their best to compose their own music by using Apple Garage Band software. Also they will shoot a 1 minute video to introduce themselves. The main purpose is to let them express themselves through different media tools.

PDS - online platform strategy
On March 29th, marking the beginning of Spring, along with the release of the "Creative Campus Channel" book, our school teacher with PDS partners convened at the SPCS Media Lab. Discussion generally focused on the role of online platforms encouraging schools' use of digital media.

Briefing Sessions on School-based Support Services (06/07 Sch Yr)
A designated PDS will be responsible for leading the professional sharing on certain areas of expertise. The school will enter into a service agreement with EMB specifying the services it will provide to other schools, and the resources EMB will commit. Today Mr Chan Chi-tat shared the experience of using and integrating IT in learning and teaching〈促進學習效能的創意媒體製作〉.
